The ATC Exchange Was a Blast!

The IA guild held their launch party and their first ATC exchange Saturday night. The artwork was fabulous, and everyone had a great time. Some people were disappointed they didn't do more cards, so they could exchange with everyone who participated. There was even interest in having more swaps then the ones scheduled.

Here is an example of the ones I received and who created them:

Verona Mitchell
Brandon Chrisjohn,
Jack Peeler
Michael Barnecott
Jill Wyant
Serena Mitchell
Amanda Dalmas,
Andrea Chrisjohn

We asked everyone to do as many cards as they could and gave 10 as a good amount. 10 was clearly not enough. I came prepared and did way more then I needed to, and I am so glad I did. I was able to trade with almost everyone who came! Now I need to figure out how I want to display them; all together, in groups, individually, in a binder.... I just can't decide.

I had a great time and can't wait until the next one.

The gathering was also to let people know about the guild and what it is all about. We now have brochures available, and if you want one, please send you name and address to iaguild@inspiringartistguild.com
with "brochure request" in the subject heading.

Our next scheduled event is gallery show. We will be using the theme "Emotion Through Shape". My gears are already moving! We hope to have a inspiration session to discuss the theme. Check the blog or website http://www.inspiringartistguild.com periodically for updates.
